We are delighted to invite you to our brand new Woman to Woman Labs.

The name “labs” was inspired by scientific or technological laboratories- special, focused places that create opportunities to research and experiment, often through trial and error, where cures are found, understanding is deepened and ground breaking research takes place.

We want to give the women of Renewal the opportunity to do just that. The chance to explore a topic that is important to you.

We will meet in an intimate, small group (no more than 12 women). These groups will be facilitated by women from the church for whom the subject matter is pertinent and relevant. The aim is to allow time to meet some new people, discuss and explore solutions to common challenges or questions we find in our life and faith and to help each other grow whilst having FUN in the process!

No one has all the answers and no one is an expert but together we can live life as Jesus intended us to!

Sessions

You will only be able to sign up for one as they are all happening at the same time and spaces are limited so you must register to the specific lab you would like to attend.

Here are the choice of sessions below:

How to survive and thrive when parenting under 5s

Exploring the trials, challenges and joys of early motherhood (for this session, you are welcome to bring your under 5s with you if you don’t have any childcare. Toys and a snack will be provided).

Pregnancy and new mums

Exploring some of the queries or worries you may have surrounding pregnancy, birth and newborns that you don’t know who to ask – there is no question “too silly”! (your babies are welcome in this session).

Women in work

Exploring what it means for women to lead in the world of work. How can we use our God-given talents in the workplace? What challenges do we face? and how can we use these skills and gifts in a church setting?

Single! So … Surviving? Satisfied? Sad?

Let’s discuss the joys and challenges of being single. What’s your experience? You might be divorced, widowed or someone who has always been single.

The Sandwich Generation

Discussing what it’s really like caring for the different generations – older parents, children and grandchildren; the privileges and the challenges we face at this time in our lives.
